We wrote a short history of the company in 2003 and, as a result, have been in contact with a number of  people who worked for the firm both during and after the war.   With the information they have provided and additional material from The National Archives and The London Gazette online, we have been able to greatly expand this new edition.   Most of the material about salvage during the war and the immediate post war years has not been published elsewhere.
